2 – part  access covers combine two standard size covers in a single run. They are used where a single part cover does not offer a large enough clear opening or if smaller individual covers are required for easier lifting.

Common applications include grease traps/arrestors, electricity and communications enclosures, valves and junction boxes.

Available for up to class B (AS3996), Urbanfil access covers are ideal for light duty applications where the designer would like to preserve the visual continuity of tiles, concrete, synthetic turf and other pavement/floor toppings.  For internal applications, an optional decorative edge is offered for enhanced aesthetics.

Urbanfil access covers require a minimum depth of 45mm of concrete underlying the desired topping. Alternatively, the cover may be filled to the top with cement concrete.

Covers do not need to be the same length, if widths are the same, any standard covers can be combined to create 2 – part units

Polyethylene seal provides a water and gas tight seal without the need for grease.

Cover depth allows for sufficient bedding concrete.

Solid base cover for easy installation of infill materials

4 High tensile steel M16 recessed socketed locking bolts per cover with plastic cap to protect from dirt ingress.

12mm reinforcing bars on class B covers.

Optional brass decorative edge around frame and cover edges.
