Central Park, Broadway, NSW

Central Park is a mixed-use development located on the site of the old Toohey’s brewery. The site consists of residential apartment towers, offices, retail shops, restaurants and bars linked by laneways and parklands available for recreational activities.

The laneways with boutique restaurants and bars come alive at night as a popular meeting place for local residents and city office workers.

Project Design Brief

Designers wanted to ensure a visual continuity of the various pavement designs used in the connecting laneways. A variety of pavement finishes were used throughout the area reflecting the heritage of the site. The new and existing underground electrical service enclosures required uniform and discreet access covers.
