Stainless Steel Socketed Pipe Systems

ACO PipeRegistration mark stainless steel socketed pipe systems provide the modern metal alternative to PVC and HDPE soil and waste pipework. The range is compatible with ACO stainless steel channels and stormwater drainage products, which make up the complete portfolio for Building Drainage.

ACO PipeRegistration mark is manufactured from grade 316 austenetic stainless steel. All products are chemically pickled and passivated for optimum durability and corrosion resistance.

ACO PipeRegistration mark pipes and fittings are available in 50mm, 75mm, 110mm, 125mm, 160mm, 200mm, 250mm & 315mm external diameters, with pipe supplied as standard from 0.15 metres up to 6 metres lengths for optimum practicality and ease of assembly. 250mm diameter pipes are custom made to order.

  • ACO PipeRegistration mark is designed, manufactured, tested and checked according to the standards EN 1124-1 and EN 1124-2: Pipes and fittings of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipes with spigot and socket for waste water systems. Additionally, ACO Pipe has been assessed and complies to AS 3495: Watermark Level 1 Stainless steel non pressure pipes and fittings.

  • Lightweight, easy to handle system that can withstand everyday wear and tear.
Double Lip Seal
  • ACO PipeRegistration mark pipes and fittings are fitted with a unique, double seal. The double seal arrangement provides added security for long term reliability.
  • ACO PipeRegistration mark is tested and approved for operating pressures in all gravity, syphonic and vacuum systems and is designed for a maximum working pressure of 0.5bar and 0.9bar (in clean vacuum applications). In cases where higher pressure may apply, it will be necessary to install the system with socket clamps.
Push-fit Systems
  • Socketed end profiles provide a modular push-fit system that offers all the time saving benefits of traditional PVC pipe systems.
  • A 10° bevel facilitates easy push-fit connection of sections. Where required, all joints can be fully circumferentially welded for extra security.
  • All components are manufactured using advanced cold forming techniques, which minimise the amount of welding required.

  • Standard sections available in 150mm, 250mm, 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm, 1500mm, 2000mm, 2500mm, 3000mm, 4000mm, 5000mm and 6000mm lengths for optimum practicality of handling and freight.

A coupling connects two pipes to each other if the pipe sizes are different, then a concentric or eccentric increaser is required

  Straight Pipes
  • Designed to transport drainage flow linearly at various capacities.
  Bends
  • Designed to direct drainage flow at various capacities. 87.5°, 45°, 30° and 15° bends available.
  Branches
  • Designed to direct drainage flow at various capacities. Single and double branches available, including reduction and swept branches.
  Transitional Branches
  • Designed to accommodate transition from a larger pipe diameter to a smaller pipe diameter.
  P-Traps
  • Fittings designed to contain foul air.
  Vent Cowls
  • Fittings designed to evacuate foul air and maintain pressure equilibrium within the installation. Available in 110mm diameter.
  Couplings
  • Connects two pipes together if the pipe diameters are different.
    An eccentric and concentric increaser coupling is then required.
  Repair Couplings
  • Repair couplings are used to aid a convenient repair to a damaged in-situ pipe. Unlike the standard straight coupling, there is no central registration to limit the insertion depth of the pipe. The repair coupling slides completely over a pipe joint and simply re-positioned to bridge the required pipe joint.
    Installation tip: mark the final position of the repair coupling on the installed pipe system to ensure the coupling seals are positioned symmetrically about the pipe joint.
  Connectors
  • Fittings used to connect unitary pieces of equipment, valves; pumps; filters housings etc. Versions available with screw threads and flanges.
  Expansion Sockets
  • Connector that accounts for excessive thermal movement.
  Socket Plugs
  • An unclamped sealed plug to close off the end of a pipe. Does not resist increases in internal pressure.
  Access Units
  • Facilitates access to pipe installations for maintenance, rodding etc.
  Clamped Plugs
  • A clamped sealed plug to close off the end of a pipe. Resists increases in internal pressure.
  Socket Clamps
  • Clamp used at each pipe/fitting joint to prevent joint movement when system subjected to internal pressure changes.
  Seals
  • Seals located in the socket of a pipe or fitting to prevent leakage of fluid from the system.
  Lubricants
  • Lubricating grease to aid the assembly of pipes and fittings.
  Supporting Infrastructure
  • Structure to support installed pipe systems.
  Cutters
  • Used to cut pipes to the correct length.
  Swept Bends
  • Swept bends are designed to reduce the turbulent flow of wastewater in pipe systems. Bends cause hydraulic losses in a pipework system, as when fluid turns a corner, it loses velocity. Swept bends ease this flow of water and reduce hydraulic losses
