The cover profiles are both drawcut and therefore require a centre frame to provide the seal and an underlying support beam to support the design load.

“T” frame for class B and cellular frames for class D & G are machined to fit covers precisely

No beam support is required across the width of the multipart system. Overlap between the undercut and drawcut profiles of the covers (lengthways) provides sufficient support as well as a water & gas seal.

Frame fits around all covers and a removable frame support beam is used between rows

Support beam sizes are determined according to loading and span requirements

Beam locating boxes must be cast with the pit structure
