Single part square and rectangular access covers can be used to provide access to underground electricity/communications enclosures, trade waste systems, valves and junction boxes.
Available for up to class B (AS3996) loadings, Urbanfil access covers are ideal for light duty applications where the designer would like to preserve the visual continuity of tiles, concrete, synthetic turf and other pavement/floor toppings. For internal applications, an optional decorative edge is offered for enhanced aesthetics.
Urbanfil access covers require a minimum depth of 45mm of concrete underlying the desired topping. Alternatively, the cover may be filled to the top with cement concrete.
For tiled finishes, tiles should be fully restrained and bonded to the concrete bed to prevent damage to the cover – an epoxy mortar is recommended. |
