Jubilee Park Netball Stadium, Frankston, VIC
Frankston and District Netball Association (FDNA) is one of the largest netball clubs in Victoria, attracting players from all over the Mornington Peninsula. The club offers indoor and outdoor facilities and hosts 12 clubs in its Saturday competition with over 200 teams participating. The FDNA caters for a range of standards from highly competitive to social and mixed games.
Project Design Brief
The netball courts were identified as non-compliant, in poor condition with safety hazards and access issues. A fully compliant netball facility to competition standard was required with a slip resistant Synpave acrylic surface, competition standard lights and large shelters. The existing spoon drains were also inefficient and unable to cope with the areas rainfall demands and a foot friendly grated trench drainage system was required.
